Reunited! My mom, sister and I spent the week in Gibsons. It was so nice to just exist with each other, cook at our airbnb and eat dinner in our pj’s, beach hop, enjoy our morning coffees, and soak up the sun.
We couldn’t have had better weather. I had to work remotely but with the sun setting so late, we had lots of opportunity to explore different beaches and work on our tan. The highlights were a boat tour to Princess Louisa Inlet, celebrating Megan’s birthday at Smitty’s, Izzy jumping off the dock, and a massage by the water at Rockwater Resort. Some of the meals we cooked at our Airbnb were steak frites, octopus with chorizo, sablefish, and bbq’d chicken wings! Hells yesssss!
With my mom in Toronto and my sister in Perth, it’s so rare to get time like this together. It was a really special week that we’ll always remember.
