Another long weekend means another camp! A group of us car camped at Stave Lake. While the weather was a bit hit and miss, we had great food, big fires, and got out for a beautiful paddle.
Stave Lake is favourite spot of mine – close to Vancouver and I often have good luck with getting a camp reservation somehow!
Steven, Napoleon and I went up Friday after work before some friends joined us Saturday morning.
Saturday morning was a bit rainy but we improvised with a sun shade we had tossed in the car last minute! Napoleon was super lazy and insisted on being a lap dog all weekend, which was next level cute.
The sun came out in the afternoon on our paddle which was beautiful. At night, we had steak with the classic fixings, and lots of laughs by the fire.
