I made it home in one piece! It was so nice coming home to Steven and Napoleon. Steven picked me up at the airport and I was so curious to see Napoleon’s reaction when I got home but he was just as excited to see Steven as he was me!! I spent some days relaxing, Steven and I got out for a nice motorcycle ride, and I caught up with some girlfriends including meeting Melisa’s baby for the first time!!
On June 29, Steven’s mom and Alan came to visit!! We had an amazing time catching up and celebrating Claudette’s 70th!! We kicked off their first night here with a seafood boil and then spent the following few days exploring Vancouver, Steveston and Squamish.
We spent July 3-6 in the Sunshine Coast. We rented an awesome oceanfront Airbnb and had a week of great food and lots of laughs. Claudette crushed it at cards against humanity!!
It was hard to say goodbye to Claudette and Alan on Friday – it was so nice having them here. We just have to convince both of our families to move out West!
