Norway: hiking Flakstandtinden in Flakstad

After sleeping in I had some delicious waffles and got ready to hike. I hiked Flakstandtinden – 3hrs/ 1.75km/ 484m elevation. Several breaks were needed on this one, the first half was a slow climb but the second half was wildly steep. I had to hike using my hands to brace myself as loose rocks just slid away each step. It was a little sketchy but the views were worth it! Because it was so steep the climb down took almost as long as the way up. I came back, had a quick dip in the ocean, and packed up. I had a late lunch/early dinner and then grabbed the bus to my next destination (Leknes) where I’ll be spending 4 nights before I start making my way home.

I may or may not have ordered two
