Norway: hiking Munken Nordtopp in Sørvågen

Today I hiked Munken Nordtopp and it was by far, the most beautiful hike I’ve ever done. I think what made it so beautiful was that there were insane views the entire time. The photos don’t even come close to doing it justice. It took me 2/2.5 hrs to reach the Munkebu Hut, then I pushed on to Munken Nordtopp which was a serious incline to the peak (another 2 hrs). I quote my text to Steven “it looks steep as fuck”. In the end I hiked about 6 hours/12.5 km/951m elevation. Ideally I’ll hike tomorrow morning before I head to my next hotel but we’ll see how the knees are feeling! For dinner I had another great meal – mussels and frites, can’t go wrong with that! For a town with a population of 440, they have surprisingly nice restaurants!!

Thank you microspikes!
